According to proponents of thermaculture, this practice goes beyond simply using a sauna for relaxation or sweating. It involves incorporating intentional rituals and mindfulness practices into sauna use, such as using specific herbs or essential oils, engaging in meditation or breathwork, and connecting with nature. The aim of thermaculture is to create a holistic sauna experience that nurtures the mind, body, and spirit, and promotes overall health and well-being. It is believed that regular practice of thermaculture can help to reduce stress, improve sleep, boost the immune system, and enhance physical performance.
